Argentina’s steel sector continues to recover in January
Argentina saw both crude steel and rolled steel production rise year-on-year in January, according to data from local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), monitored by Kallanish.
“During the first month of 2020, domestic public construction activity and the agri-machinery sectors continued to show improvement compared to previous months,” CAA says. “The automotive industry also exhibited some recovery.”
