Argentina’s steel production remains strong in May

The Argentinian steel sector continued improving in May. The industry grew crude steel and hot-rolled production both sequentially and year-on-year, Kallanish notes. According to the national steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), Argentinian crude steel output totalled 442,000 tonnes in May, up 2.8% or 12,100t on-month.
