Argentina’s steel production recovers in May
Argentina saw both crude steel and rolled steel output rise month-on-month in May, Kallanish notes.
According to local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), Argentinian crude steel output reached 446,900 tonnes in May, a 26% increase on-month and 14.3% more on-year. Five-month output reached 1.89 million tonnes, up 1.5% on-year.
