Argentina’s Sidersa developing rebar, wire rod mill
Argentine steel processor Sidersa will invest almost $300 million to become a longs producer, Kallanish notes. The company is planning to build a plant in San Nicolás, Buenos Aires, with a combined production capacity of 360,000 tonnes of rebar and wire rod per year.
