Argentina’s primary iron production slows in June
Argentina saw primary iron output decrease month-on-month in June, Kallanish learns from Argentinian steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA)’s latest data. Output, however, was stronger on-year.
In June, primary iron production was 268,700 tonnes, down 18.3% on-month but 10% more compared to the 244,200t produced in the same month of 2021. Of this, pig iron production comprised 180,600t, a 2% fall over May and just 0.3% less on-year. Sponge …
