Argentina's primary iron production growth continues in September
Argentinian primary iron production rose in September for a third consecutive month. The increase is mainly explained by higher sponge iron output, Kallanish learns from the national steel association Cámara Argentina del Acero (CAA).
Primary iron production was 306,000 tonnes in September, up 41,700t from August and 4.2% more than the 293,600t produced in the same month last year. This volume was the highest since 313,300t in April.
