Argentina’s pig iron production recovers in June
Аrgentinа’s primary iron production fell month-on-month in June due to lower sponge iron volumes. Pig iron output, however, returned to higher levels after underperforming in May and April. Six-month output also remained significantly higher on-year, according to local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) data monitored by Kallanish.
