Argentina’s pig iron production falls sequentially in October
Argentinian primary iron output decreased month-on-month in October. The fall was the result of lower pig iron volumes, Kallanish learns from Argentinian steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA)’s latest data
October primary iron output was 311,200 tonnes, down 6.7% on-month but 19.8% higher than the 255,700t produced in the same period in 2020.
