Argentina's pig iron output rises in January
Argentina increased pig iron output year-on-year in January, but it was down when compared to December 2020, according to local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) data monitored by Kallanish.
Argentina’s pig iron production reached 182,200 tonnes in January. This volume was 6.9% higher on-year but 9% lower over the 200,200t produced in the previous month.
