Argentina's iron output decreases in 2020
Argentina’s primary iron production decreased in 2020, mainly impacted by the effect of the Covid-19 crisis, according to local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) data monitored by Kallanish. Output, however, continued to recover in December.
Argentina’s primary iron output reached 252,500 tonnes in the last month of 2020. This volume was 27.8% higher on-year and also 12.3% more over the 224,900t produced in November.
