Argentina’s May steel production grows, longs see shortage
The Argentinian steel industry saw production improve month-on-month in May, Kallanish learns from local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) data.
“The good activity in the sectors that make up the value chain of the steel industry continued during May,” CAA says. “Supplies to the construction sector remained strong; however, they were affected in the last week of the month due to Covid-19 containment measures.”
