Argentina's March pig iron production grows, DRI drops
Argentina saw its primary iron production fall month-on-month in March. Output volume, however, was slightly up in the year-on-year comparison. Three-month output also remains higher, according to data from the local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) monitored by Kallanish.
Argentina’s primary iron output reached 237,100 tonnes in March, 3.5% less on-month but 1.2% higher than the 234,200t produced in the same period in 2020.
