Argentina's July primary iron reaches 20-month low
Argentinian primary iron output decreased both on-month and on-year for the second consecutive time in July, Kallanish learns from Argentinian steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero's (CAA) latest data.
In July, primary iron production was 227,300 tonnes, down 15.4% on-month and 23.5% weaker compared to the 297,000t produced in the same month of 2021. This volume was the lowest since the 224,900t produced by the country in November 2020.
