Argentina’s February output drops to 2020 levels
Argentina’s steel sector saw production fall sequentially in February to levels similar to those seen during the first wave of Covid-19 in 2020, Kallanish notes.
According to local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), Argentinian crude steel output reached 318,900 tonnes in February, a decrease of 9.9% on-month and also 3.6% less on-year.
