Argentina’s construction sector remains weak, longs demand rises
Argentina saw its construction sector activity decrease month-on-month in September, Kallanish learns from the country's statistics institute, Indec. This was not however reflected in the consumption of rebar, which continued to rise.
Argentinian construction activity fell by 2.2% over August but was 12.4% higher compared to the same period in 2020. In the first nine months of 2021, it grew by 42.6% y-o-y.
