Argentina’s construction sector registers two-year decline
Argentinian construction activity remains weak. The sector registered its 24th consecutive negative monthly performance in August, Kallanish learns from national statistics institute Indec.
The Argentine Chamber of Construction (CAMARCO) has pointed to decreasing investment. According to CAMARCO, almost 78% of construction companies polled did not have any works awarded in August, which pushed 21% of these to suspend personnel.
