Argentina’s construction sector recovers in 2021
Argentinian construction sector activity remained strong in December, Kallanish learns from national statistics institute Indec. Demand rose both on-month and year-on-year in the last month of 2021. An improvement was also reflected in the consumption of rebar, which continued to grow.
Argentina’s construction activity grew by 2.4% over November and was also 4.6% higher compared to the same period in 2020. In full-year 2021, it increased by 30.8% y-o-y.
