Architectural billings stay positive for ninth straight month
US architectural billings were in the green for the ninth consecutive month in June, Kallanish learns from the American Institute of Architects.
June's billings index reading slipped from 52.8 in May to 51.3 in June, though all readings above 50 generally indicate growth. The billings index measures the 9-12 month lag between architectural billings and construction activity, serving as a bellwether for the health of the sector.
