ArcelorMittal to extend its production lines in Brazil
ArcelorMittal Brazil plans to install a new production line in the municipality of Glorinha, in Porto Alegre, Kallanish notes.
The investment is worth BRL 52.5 million ($10.2m) and will create nearly 100 direct jobs by 2022, according to ArcelorMittal.
The steelmaker signed a protocol of intentions with the Rio Grande do Sul State government, through the Secretariat of Economic Development and Tourism (Sedetur) and the Secretariat of Finance (Sefaz).
