ArcelorMittal supplies steel for Siemens wind turbine plant
Siemens Gamesa has inaugurated its wind turbine construction plant in Cuxhaven, Germany, for which ArcelorMittal supplied 7,000 tonnes of beams, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
The material supply was handled by Austrian unit ArcelorMittal Commercial Long, which delivered beams of high-tensile strengths S355 and S460 to structural construction company Haslinger Stahlbau.
