ArcelorMittal Spain starts coke-oven gas injection system
ArcelorMittal says it has commissioned the new system of coke-oven gas injection at blast furnace B at its Gijon plant in northern Spain, Kallanish learns from the company.
The project is strategic for the steelmaker and will allow it to reduce CO2 emissions by 125,000 tonnes/year, while reducing operational costs in the pig iron production process.
