ArcelorMittal Spain agrees temporary layoff scheme with unions
ArcelorMittal tells Kallanish it has agreed with unions to apply a temporary employment regulation scheme (ERTE). According to a settlement between the sides, the ERTE will be in force from 1 October to 31 December. The impact on the workforce will be subject to the drop in production rate at each of ArcelorMittal’s 11 Spanish mills.
