ArcelorMittal Polish sales inch down in 2016
ArcelorMittal’s sales in Poland declined -1% on-year in 2016 to $3 billion. This signifies a drop in the second half of the year after first-half sales had risen 1%. Nevertheless, Poland remained the world largest steelmaker’s sixth-highest-earning country in 2016.
Although down on 2015, the decline in 2016 was nowhere near as steep as the -21% drop in 2015 sales versus 2014 (see Kallanish 24 February 2016).
