ArcelorMittal Ostrava advances automotive flat bars investment
ArcelorMittal Ostrava is investing CZK 80 million ($3.2m) into the reconstruction of the cooling bed at its medium sections mill. The work aims to improve the quality of flat bars used to make leaf springs, which are in turn used mainly in the automotive industry and freight transport. Ostrava is ArcelorMittal Europe´s only producer of this product.
