ArcelorMittal names new ceo for Europe
ArcelorMittal has named Geert Van Poelvoorde as chief executive of ArcelorMittal Europe, succeeding Aditya Mittal who became group ceo last month, Kallanish notes.
Van Poelvoorde has been heading the flat steel segment of ArcelorMittal Europe since 2014 and has been president of steelmakers’ association Eurofer since 2015.
