ArcelorMittal Italia increases coil prices
Italian producer ArcelorMittal Italia is pushing up its prices for domestic coil by €30/tonne ($33.5/t) compared to last month, Kallanish learns from the company’s customers.
The move is intended to prevent coil prices from further weakening in Italy and it is also due to higher costs faced by producers for CO₂ emissions' reduction, sources explain. ArcelorMittal however has chosen not comment on the move.
