ArcelorMittal Gijón starts bag filter commissioning
ArcelorMittal tells Kallanish it has begun the bag filter hot commissioning process at its Gijón mill in northern Spain. The steelmaker has already installed a gas scrubbing system at the facility.
The new equipment will reduce particle emissions from the Sinter A plant process by 75%, ensuring daily average particle emission levels below 10mg/Nm3, ArcelorMittal says.
