ArcelorMittal Brazil restarts Barra Mansa longs production
ArcelorMittal Brazil says it will resume steelmaking activities at its Aços Longos Sul Fluminense unit in Barra Mansa. The meltshop has been idle since January 2019.
According to the steelmaker, the restart of the unit comes amid increasing domestic demand for long steel products and the prospects for economic growth in Brazil.
