Spanish steel production to see hefty April fall
A reduction in Spanish crude steel production in April could be by as much as -30% year-on-year, Kallanish understands.
This week the local steelmakers’ association Unesid had a meeting with HM King Felipe to update him about the industry. In March Spanish mills reduced their output by almost -15% on-year to 1.1 million tonnes, according to worldsteel data.
