April iron, steel freight volumes decrease in Canada
Monthly freight loadings of primary and semi-finished iron and steel products in Canada fell in April, Kallanish learns from Statistics Canada.
The volume of primary and semi-finished iron and steel products shipped by freight decreased by 25.6% month-on-month, from 457,224 tonnes to 335,556t. The report shows an 11.9% year-on-year decrease.
