Aperam orders annealing/pickling line for Genk works
Aperam Stainless Belgium has contracted SMS group to supply an annealing and pickling line for stainless steel cold strip for its Genk plant.
Production start is scheduled for 2020. With this investment, Aperam will enlarge its product range by material grades and improve lead time and flexibility to meet market demand. It will also further increase efficiency and cost competitiveness, SMS group says.
