Aperam lowers alloy surcharges for June
French stainless steel producer Aperam has decreased its alloy surcharges for both its austenitic and ferritic ranges of flat stainless steels for Europe for June compared to May, Kallanish notes.
The surcharge for grade 304 (1.4301), has decreased to €1,376/tonne ($1,538/t) in June from €1,442/t in May. That for grade 316 has also been lowered to €2,115/t for next month from €2,208/t in May. Grade 309S, a heat resist…
