Aperam decreases July alloy surcharges

French stainless steel producer Aperam is decreasing some of its July alloy surcharges for its austenitic range of flat stainless steels for Europe, by almost €50/tonne ($53). This is due to fluctuating raw materials and declining nickel prices, although molybdenum values have risen, Kallanish notes.
