Anglo restarts Moranbah North mine
Anglo American has this week restarted its Moranbah North coking coal mine in Queensland, Australia.
The 8 million tonnes/year capacity mine was suspended for four months due to a roof collapse, Kallanish notes. In 2019, Moranbah North's coal output was 6.15mt, down from 6.76mt in 2018.
