Anglo American to extend Aquila mine life

Anglo American will extend the life of its Aquila metallurgical coal project in Australia’s Queensland by six years through an AUD 240 million ($175.68m) investment. The company plans to see first longwall production of hard coking coal in early 2022, Anglo says in a note seen by Kallanish.
