Anglo American shuts Moranbah North after incident
Anglo American has shut down the Moranbah North coal mine operation after a site incident in which a contract worker has died from critical head injuries, Kallanish notes.
"Mine inspectors are attending the site today, where mining operations have been suspended, to commence an investigation into the incident," the company said. It is still unknown when the operation will restart again.
