Anglo American shuts Moranbah North on gas threat
Anglo American has suspended output and withdrawn all workers from the Moranbah North coal mine after facing rising gas levels behind the mine's longwall. The firm had been mining through some particularly challenging geology, an Anglo American spokesperson tells Kallanish.
