Anglo American sees coking coal output decline

Anglo American saw metallurgical coal production in Australia decline by -32% year-on-year in the second quarter, mainly due to two underground accidents. Operating rates continued to increase from 60% in April to around 90%, however, Kallanish notes. Metallurgical coal production reached 4 million tonnes.
