Anglo American second-quarter performance slows in Brazil
UK-headquartered miner Anglo American saw its iron ore production in Brazil slightly up quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter. Output was however weaker year-on-year, Kallanish learns from the company’s latest production report.
“Minas-Rio performance decreased on-year mainly due to lower mining activity following a 20-day planned maintenance carried out in Q2,” Anglo American says.
