Anglo American increases Brazilian ore output in Q2
UK-headquartered miner Anglo American boosted its iron ore production in Brazil significantly year-on-year in the second quarter of 2017, Kallanish learns from the company’s quarterly unaudited production report.
After the group’s mine in the Minas-Rio System in Minas Gerais saw an increase in production of 30% to 4.34 million tonnes in Q1, Q2 output fell only 200,000t short of this total, the company says.
