Anglo American charters LNG iron ore carriers
Global mining company Anglo American has agreed to charter four LNG-fuelled capesize vessels for its iron ore shipments over the next ten years. These will be used to ship 5 million tonnes/year of iron ore by 2023 from its operations in Brazil and South Africa to customers mainly in China, Kallanish notes.
