AMSA's financials plummet amid weak steel trading environment
ArcelorMittal South Africa (AMSA) increased crude steel production in the first half of 2023 by 29% on-year to 1.4 million tonnes and sales volumes by 3% to 1.2mt. Average utilisation rate rose to 53% from 42% in H1 2022, Kallanish notes.
