Pakistan’s Amreli suspends steel production amid severe flooding
Major Pakistani steelmaker Amreli Steels has suspended production from 31 August to 19 September, amid unprecedented rainfall and severe flash floods across Pakistan. The resumption of operations or extension of stoppage will be communicated accordingly, the company says in a stock exchange filing seen by Kallanish.
