AMNS India evaluates 12mt Odisha project
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) India has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Odisha state government to construct a 12 million tonnes/year capacity complex for $6.9 billion, the firm tells Kallanish.
Further details, such as production technologies, product mix and capacities, and raw materials sources, are yet to be decided, a spokesman says. A committee will now be formed to evaluate the project and prepare a feasibility report, he adds.
