AMNS India reports fall in deliveries, earnings
AMNS India’s crude steel production plunged 12.1% on-year to 1.66 million tonnes in the September quarter, against 1.89mt produced a year earlier. This was however stable against 1.67mt produced in the June quarter.
According to the company, crude steel production was down on the back of maintenance at the Hazira unit, Kallanish notes. Output also fell 9% on-year to 5.06mt in January-September.
