AMNS India commences iron ore mining at Odisha
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AMNS India) has commenced commercial production of iron ore at its captive mine in Ghoraburhani-Sagasahi, Odisha.
The firm’s Odisha mines have estimated reserves of 98.61 million tonnes of iron ore, Kallanish notes. The company plans to commence production at 2m t/year and subsequently ramp up to 7.16m t/y.
