AMNS India details bullish mega expansion plan
Following the completion of ongoing expansion work at its Hazira unit, ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel joint venture AMNS India is planning mega expansion projects in India.
The company has planned a capital expenditure of $0.8 billion to ramp up its Hazira-based steel unit capacity to 8.6 million tonnes/year from the existing 7.6m t/y in the fiscal year ending 31 March 2023 (FY24).
