AMKR increases production amid upgrades, energy restrictions
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) increased production in April compared to the previous month, despite constant Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and related restrictions in energy supply, the company tells Kallanish.
In particular, blast furnace No.6 was re-commissioned after repairs and coke production started at coke batteries No.3 and No.4, which made it possible to increase crude and rolled steel production, the enterprise claims.
