ArcelorMittal Hamburg starts up new walking beam furnace
With the strategic investment of €15 million ($17m) in a new walking beam furnace, ArcelorMittal Hamburg can now handle bigger sizes and lowers energy consumption as well as emissions. The furnace took three years to build, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
