ArcelorMittal beefs up Hamburg operation with new furnace
ArcelorMittal Hamburg is currently preparing the installation of an all-new walking beam furnace, for which the group has lined up investment of €15 million ($17.6m).
The project had already been mentioned at the annual press meeting of Germany’s ArcelorMittal chiefs attended by Kallanish earlier in the year. More information has now been released during a visit to the plant by Hamburg’s mayor, Olaf Scholz.
